Amazingly, I used to be afraid of moths.

I've grown to love them, of course. In fact, I absolutely adore the Emperor Moth, and this is my detailed illustration of one, coloured today.

I've also added the slogan Loyal Lepidopterist — possibly the beginning of a new Birds Can Fly range celebrating our amazing butterflies and moths. (I only just learnt the word lepidopterist myself... every day's a school day.)
The Emperor Moth (Saturnia pavonia) is one of Britain's most spectacular moths, and this T-shirt is for anyone who's ever looked a little closer at the natural world and fallen in love with it too. As ever, it's printed in full colour on a super-soft, eco-friendly T-shirt made from responsibly sourced organic cotton using renewable energy.
Take notice. Celebrate moths and butterflies. Wear your allegiance and become a Loyal Lepidopterist.

Amazingly, I used to be afraid of moths. I've grown to love them, of course.
