Inspired by Extinction Rebellion's THE BIG ONE <\/u><\/a>(April 21-24). I have created a new Snowy Owl drawing that has been designed to be transformed into a portable \u2018puppet\u2019 that can be carried by participants during Earth Day at The Bio Diversity Rally on 22nd of April, participants are invited to join me in carrying their \u2018puppet\u2019 whilst \u2018gently referencing\u2019 the snowy owl, echoing my own work with Birds Can Fly. The protest aims to gather 100,000 people at Parliament, the aim is to hold our government to account over their deplorable climate policies.<\/p> On the 22nd April<\/strong> those taking part will follow the march and gather at Parliament Square, those carrying owl 'puppets' will create a \u2018parliament of owls<\/strong>\u2019 a visual spectacle of resistance. This project has been produced in collaboration with my friend, artist Hilary Jack <\/u><\/a>who has created 'puppet' making workshops with their local Extinction Rebellion group in Macclesfield. You can download an A3 'puppet' (below) for free<\/strong> or purchase a print to save you the trouble of printing it out at home.
